  3. The WinU Remote Administration Kit consists of these programs:

  5. metermgr.exe    License Meter Manager program
  6. msgmgr.exe      Message Manager program
  7. timemgr.exe     Remote Control / Time Manager program
  8. pwdmgr.exe      Password Manager program
  9. extract.exe     Data Extractor builds data files used by other WinU tools
  10. logon.exe       log on to WinU by user name with validation
  11. validl.dll      part of the logon program
  12. logoff.exe      close all programs and log on as a different user
  13. closeDUN.exe    close a Dial-Up Networking connection
  14. scrsav.exe      start your screensaver from a WinU button
  15. wtimer.exe      WinU event scheduler
  16. restart.exe     restart the computer from a WinU button

  18. The kit is available from the Bardon website at http://www.bardon.com 
  19. and as part of the purchased WinU software package, on the distribution
  20. disk in the a:\adminkit directory.

  22. To install the WinU Remote Administration Kit programs, simply copy 
  23. them to any convenient directory.  You can copy them to the same 
  24. directory as the WinU program itself if you like.  This lets you use 
  25. the regular WinU helpfile (WINU.HLP) which includes the documentation 
  26. for these companion programs.  Press F1 or click their Help buttons 
  27. while you are using them.  This is also a handy directory if you need 
  28. to uninstall, because the WinU uninstaller knows how to delete these 
  29. companion programs as well as WinU itself.
